Welcome to ScotlandCayIsland.com!

Located 185 miles east of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Scotland Cay is a one-of-a-kind paradise offering its residents luxury and privacy. Only property owners and their guests are allowed on the island, which is accessible by private aircraft, private vessel, or ferry service from nearby Marsh Harbour, Abaco.

There are no commercial services on the island—no restaurants, bars, stores, public marinas, or the like. Do not travel to the island unless you are a guest of a current property owner. You will be asked to leave immediately.

The island is managed by the Scotland Cay Property Owners Association.  The association is governed by a six-member board chosn by annual elections.  Volunteer committees are responsible for island beautification, fire and emergency procedures, and architectural approval.

Island residents have access to some of the most beautiful natural features of the Bahamas.  The islands' Lagoon Park is lined with hundreds of coconut palms that offers ideal swimming conditions.  The national underwater park located near Scotland Cay offers some of the most spectacular coral reefs. The islands' Atlantic shore offers a large, pristine beach.

Scotland Cay Estates maintains a 3,600 ft. paved runway and island marina.  The marina is capable of handling vessels up to 45' in length.  Island policy restricts use of the marina and airport to residents and their guests only.  No unauthorized landings or moorings will be allowed without prior approval.
